Patient Needs for 2013-2014
Pain Control Analgesia (PCA) Pumps - These pumps are used to help relieve pain in hip surgery patients by injecting morphine. They are initially used in the Post-anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) after orthopeadic surgery and continue to be used by patients throughout their recovery on 2North. Our current pumps are 15-20 years old and there are no replacement parts available. Please help the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation raise $90,000 to fund 15 new PCA pumps.
