Community is at the heart of everything I do, and how better to care for one’s community than by investing in its health?

When I consider my time as Chair of the Transforming Tomorrow – Diagnostic Imaging Campaign, helping facilitate the needs of our hospital and the patients it serves, I am often in awe of all that we have accomplished together. I am now very excited to announce that we have reached 90%of our $8 million campaign goal!

I am also happy to share that the FDC Foundation has pledged to match every gift made to the Transforming Tomorrow – Diagnostic Imaging Campaign, up to $1 million. Do note, we have until December 31^st,2024, to exhaust this matching opportunity.

Today, I am inviting you to join me in this transformation. Your support will not only facilitate the procurement of cutting-edge medical equipment, but also fuel innovation and excellence in patient diagnosis and treatment, as we aim to expand the entire Diagnostic Imaging Department at STEGH.

Having an MRI at STEGH would vastly improve the quality of care for the 5,000 families that have to travel outside of St. Thomas &Elgin County for MRI scans each year, like Vera Warren and her son Tyler. This is what Transforming Tomorrow is all about.
